Amanda's Story

Updated: Dec 13, 2019

College of Hope has been an excellent place for my family and myself to learn many different subjects. Incredibly Years: Supporting Children Experiencing Autism, is where I learned how children with Autism act, and how I can better understand them. My niece has a son that has Autism and I wanted to learn more about Autism so that I can better relate to and understand her son. It was a 12-week class taught by Maribeth, who is an awesome teacher, and I learned a lot on the subject. Now that I know more on the subject, I can have a better relationship with my niece and her son.

College of Hope is an excellent place to meet new friends, and learn many new things in their classes that they offer, on subjects in many different areas. They offer free childcare, an awesome meal that is created special, for each and every person that attends one of their classes and their children. After the class, taught by very educated specialists in their own area, one will earn a certificate of graduation saying that you did graduate from their class. They gift each person that has attended their class with a special gift meant especially for them. They offer free transportation from your home to each class and back to your home, that may be located in different areas that they may have their class at, such as in Everett, Lynnwood, Marysville, Monroe, and Stanwood.

I have taken many different classes on parenting, Keep it Clean (how to prepare for an inspection and clean more thoroughly), and Coupons, Coupons, Coupons (how to coupon and save money when I go shopping). There are so many different interesting subjects for all to enjoy! College of Hope has given so much to my family and myself and has given us resources to better our lives for the best! Thank you, College of Hope, for all that you do!!!
